Punjab, Sept. 14 -- SEMICON India 2026 runs from September 17 to 19 at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi, with more than 525 exhibitors and participation from over 40 countries.
The six areas
The government has set out six focus areas under Semicon 2.0 and its Rs 1,27,500 crore outlay: chip design, semiconductor equipment and materials, additional fabs, advanced packaging, research and development, and talent development.
Only one of those six is a fab. That is the most important thing about the list.
