Punjab, Sept. 14 -- Hanuman Ansh took an estimated Rs 22.50 crore net in India on Sunday - on its 38th day in cinemas. Its domestic net now stands near Rs 214.63 crore.

Rs 214 crore net is a very good result. Rs 22.50 crore on day 38 is an extraordinary one.
Hindi releases are front-loaded to an extreme degree. Most films take the bulk of their lifetime collection inside the first ten days, and by week five are playing to a handful of shows. A film taking more than Rs 22 crore on its sixth Sunday is not in that pattern at all.
