Fiji, Sept. 21 -- Fijian rugby great and PSH Hospitals Brand Ambassador Waisale Serevi is urging Fijians to take heart health seriously, warning that delaying medical checks could cost lives.

Serevi made the call while launching the PSH Hospitals Heart Awareness Campaign at the Heart Wellness Symposium in Fiji.

"Too often, we wait until we become seriously ill before seeking medical help. Please do not ignore warning signs, and do not be afraid to have regular health checks.

"Early action can save your life," Serevi said.

Serevi, who was chief guest at the symposium, said the discipline required in sport also applied to maintaining good health.
