Bhubaneswar, March 1 -- A young man was allegedly stabbed to death in the GGP Colony area under Mancheswar Police Station limits in Bhubaneswar on Saturday night. The incident occurred at a school playground in Rasulgarh at around 10 pm.

The deceased has been identified as Rahul Maharana, a resident of Jagannath Nagar. He was engaged in the business of oxygen gas cylinders in the Palasuni area.

According to police sources, Rahul was allegedly attacked by three to four youths who were reportedly under the influence of alcohol. The assailants allegedly stabbed him in the chest, inflicting grievous injuries.
