Bhubaneswar, April 19 -- A youth was allegedly kidnapped and murdered in Odisha's Ganjam district, triggering tension in the area. The deceased has been identified as Rajdeep Sahu of Malatentulia village under Polsara police limits.

According to police sources, Rajdeep had gone out on Friday, reportedly telling his family he was stepping out for a walk, but did not return home. Suspecting foul play, his family members lodged a complaint, alleging that he had been abducted. Police subsequently launched an investigation.

On Saturday, police recovered a blood-stained body from the Daringbadi ghat area under Sorada police station limits. The body was later identified as that of Rajdeep Sahu.
