Bhubaneswar, June 28 -- A youth was allegedly abducted and robbed near XIMB Square in Bhubaneswar on Saturday over an auto finance dispute.

Upon receiving the information, police launched an investigation and arrested two suspects in connection with the case.

According to reports, the victim allegedly withdrew around Rs 73,000 from various ATM kiosks in a state of fear and handed the cash over to the miscreants.

He eventually escaped from the clutches of the accused near Janata Maidan and reached Maitri Vihar Police Station and reported the incident.

Reports also suggest that the accused allegedly assaulted the youth, threatened to kill him, and even forced him to arrange money from his family.
