India, Sept. 16 -- A young woman lost both her legs after reportedly jumping in front of the Shatabdi Express near Telenga Sahi. The incident took place near Balasore railway station, on Monday afternoon.

The woman had reportedly arrived near the station on a scooter before allegedly attempting to end her life by jumping in front of the train. She was seriously injured after being hit by the Shatabdi Express.

As per reports, the woman lost both her legs in the attempt to jump in front of the train.

Woman Rescued In Critical Condition Local residents rushed to the spot after the incident and rescued the woman in a critical condition. She was subsequently taken to Balasore District Headquarters Hospital for treatment.
