Bhubaneswar, April 15 -- In a disturbing and tragic incident, a young woman hanged herself to death on Wednesday in a private hostel located under Kharavel Nagar police limits of Bhubaneswar. The deceased has been identified as Pinki Rout, also known as Tikili, a resident of Sidhamula locality in Nayagarh district.

According to preliminary information, Pinki Rout was working as a data entry operator in a medicine store situated in Kharavel Nagar. The young woman took a photo of herself while taking the extreme step and placing the noose around her neck, and sent it to someone on social media before ending her life.
