Bhubaneswar, May 3 -- In a serious workplace accident, a construction worker was critically injured on Sunday after being trapped under an overturned concrete mixer machine at a bridge construction site in Tilisinghi village under Bhanjanagar police limits in Ganjam district, Odisha.

According to sources, the fatal incident took place while construction work for a culvert was underway near the village. A concrete mixer machine being used for the casting work lost balance all of a sudden and overturned towards the roadside, leading to chaos at the site.
