Bhubaneswar, June 28 -- OdishaChief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi launched the Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP) under the state government's flagship Udyami Odisha MSME programme at Lok Seva Bhavan on Saturday.

Grounded in a partnership with NITI Aayog, the initiative is expected to establish a dedicated state chapter designed to streamline support systems for women entrepreneurs and transition women from employment seekers into job creators.

During the launch ceremony, the Chief Minister highlighted a major structural shift in the state's economic landscape. He noted that the share of women-led enterprises in Odisha rose from a previous 25 per cent to a current 53 per cent.
