Bhubaneswar, Aug. 18 -- A morning walk turned into a dramatic confrontation for a woman after a chain-snatching attempt went awry near the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhubaneswar on Tuesday morning.

The incident took place in front of AIIMS, where two suspected chain snatchers allegedly targeted the woman while she was out for her morning walk.

According to preliminary information, the miscreants approached her on a motorcycle and attempted to snatch a gold chain from her neck. However, the woman fought back and managed to pull the snatcher, causing him to lose his balance and fall from the moving motorcycle.

Alert locals soon rushed to the spot and overpowered the suspect before handing him over to the police. A fi...
