Bhubaneswar, May 11 -- A woman was allegedly hacked to death while another sustained critical injuries following a violent dispute over roof construction work in Haripur village under Khaira police station limits in Odisha's Balasore district on Sunday.

According to reports, the incident occurred after an argument broke out between two neighbouring families during roof construction work in the village. Following the altercation, the father, son and wife of the neighbouring family allegedly attacked two women with a sharp weapon.
