India, Sept. 18 -- A woman went missing after reportedly being swept away in the Ib River on Thursday. The incident was reported at Kanhakund, known as the Grand Canyon of Odisha, in Sundargarh.

The woman has been missing since yesterday and her whereabouts remained unknown at the time of reporting. She has been identified as Pragyanshree Panda, who reportedly lives near Sundargarh Women's College.

Search Operation Underway Following the incident, Fire Services personnel launched a search operation in the Ib River to trace the missing woman.

The search operation continued as efforts were being made to locate her at the time of filing of this report.
