Bhubaneswar, Oct. 1 -- Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida and Forest and Environment Minister Ganesh Ram Singh Khuntia reviewed the health condition of the orangutans at Nandankanan Zoological Park.

The orangutans are in good health, with their weight increasing and their earlier anaemia showing improvement, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida said.

Parida said suitable arrangements have been made at Nandankanan for the care of the orangutans. She also said there was no truth in the ongoing discussion about the orangutans being sent back from Odisha.

The Deputy Chief Minister reviewed their condition along with the Forest and Environment Minister and officials at Nandankanan.
