Bhubaneswar, April 27 -- A change in weather conditions is expected across Odisha from Monday. Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar forecasted rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms in parts of the state. The development comes amid prevailing intense heat conditions affecting several regions.

According to the forecast, districts in both north and south Odisha may witness rainfall along with thunder. Areas likely to be affected include Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada and Koraput in the southern region, as well as Balasore and Mayurbhanj in north Odisha.

The anticipated rainfall is expected to bring some variation in weather conditions in these districts, where heat remained persistent over the past few days.
