Waterlogging, poor drainage on NH-149 trouble commuters in Angul
Bhubaneswar, Oct. 4 -- Waterlogging and poor drainage on National Highway 149 between Pitiri and Pallahara in Odisha's Angul district have become a major concern for local residents and commuters. During rainfall, water accumulates on the highway and flows along the road, while the poor drainage system adds to the problem.
Despite the condition of the highway, toll fees continue to be collected from commuters. Local residents have urged the administration and the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to take immediate steps to improve the drainage system and address the waterlogging.
