Bhubaneswar, Oct. 14 -- Hundreds of kites gathered on Bada Danda near Mausima Temple in Puri on Wednesday morning, drawing the attention of local residents and passersby.

The unusual sight saw the birds moving across the busy road in search of food. According to reports, food scattered on the road attracted the kites, which gathered in large numbers to feed.

The birds were seen moving from one side of the road to the other as they tried to collect food. However, the constant movement of vehicles on the busy stretch made it difficult for them to feed without interruption.

At times, the kites managed to pick up food, while at other moments, they had to retreat as vehicles passed by.
