Bhubaneswar, Dec. 26 -- Odisha scripted a convincing victory against Services in a Group D match of Vijay Hazare Trophy at the KSCA Cricket (3) Ground in Alur on Friday.

Opting to bowl first after winning the toss, Odisha bowled out Services for a paltry total of 83 only in 21.5 overs.

Sambit Baral (4/21) was the wrecker-in-chief for Odisha by scalping four wickets. He was well supported by Rajesh Mohanty (3/25) and Badal Biswal (2/20). Odisha won a very important toss and exploited the condition well to put the opposition batters into trouble. They could never make a comeback after the initial loss.

Apart from Poonia (25, 18b, 2x4, 2x6), nobody could give any resistance with the bat.
