Untimely dense fog engulfs Sundargarh, visibility drops to 50-metre
Bhubaneswar, Sept. 1 -- A thick layer of fog reportedly covered Tensa town in Koida block of Odisha's Sundargarh district on Tuesday, reducing visibility and creating difficulties for commuters.
The mining town is known for its iron ore mines, witnessed dense fog despite the ongoing rainy season. Visibility was reportedly reduced to around 50 metres in some areas, making it difficult for people to clearly see the road ahead.
The fog covered roads, hills and nearby green areas, giving the mining town a winter-like appearance. Several parts of Tensa reportedly remained covered in mist for some time, creating a different scene from the town's usual busy surroundings.
