Bhubaneswar, Feb. 27 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Odisha on a two-day official tour beginning March 5, during which he will participate in a series of government programmes across the state.

According to the itinerary, Shah will arrive at the Bhubaneswar airport on the evening of March 5. His official engagements will commence on March 6 with his participation in key events in Cuttack, Jatani and Bhubaneswar.

On the morning of March 6, the Union Home Minister will attend the CISF Raising Day programme at Mundali in Cuttack. The event marks the foundation day of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and is observed annually with ceremonial proceedings and official addresses.
