Bhubaneswar, March 10 -- The decomposed body of an unidentified youth was recovered from a roadside area in Odisha's Ganjam district on Tuesday, raising suspicion of murder, police said.
The body was found near agricultural land along the main road in Tanarada village under Belaguntha police station limits. According to initial reports, the body was in a highly decomposed state, indicating that the youth may have been killed several days ago and his body dumped at the location.
Local residents noticed a strong foul smell while passing through the road early in the morning. On checking the nearby area, they discovered the body lying beside the road and immediately informed the police.
