Bhubaneswar, June 22 -- The Odisha Higher Education Department on Monday published the first selection merit list for admission into undergraduate (Degree +3) courses for the academic session 2026-27, with as many as 1,78,782 students securing seats in various higher educational institutions across Odisha.

According to the department, a total of 2,37,200 students had applied for admission against 2,87,327 sanctioned seats available in colleges and universities across the state. Of the selected candidates, 1,09,591 are female, 69,182 are male and nine are transgender students.
