Bhubaneswar, April 2 -- The Special Crime Unit of the Commissionerate Police on Thursday seized two semi-automatic firearms along with 10 rounds of ammunition in Bhubaneswar and arrested one person in connection with the case.

The accused has been identified as Amresh Rout of Sundarpada Talasahi. He was apprehended by the Special Crime Unit during an operation. Officials also seized two magazines and a motorcycle from his possession.

In addition, a mobile phone and Rs 800 in cash were recovered during the search.
