Bhubaneswar, June 16 -- Two drivers were burnt alive in a devastating road accident after a truck caught fire following a head-on collision with a Hyva vehicle on the Sundargarh-Sambalpur State Highway near Kaisara on Tuesday.

According to preliminary reports, the truck and the Hyva collided head-on, triggering a massive blaze. The impact of the collision was so severe that the truck was engulfed in flames within minutes, leaving little time for those inside to escape.

The two drivers reportedly became trapped inside the vehicle after the collision. As the fire spread rapidly, both were unable to get out and were burnt alive at the scene.
