Bhubaneswar, March 25 -- A tube well in Barhapal village under Rupsa police station in Odisha's Balasore district has allegedly remained locked for the past four days following a dispute between two neighbouring villages over drainage water. The standoff has led to a complete halt in the use of the water source, affecting local residents.

Villagers have reportedly chained the tube well and suspended its use as tensions escalated over the issue. The situation has created inconvenience for people who rely on the facility for their daily water needs.
