Bhubaneswar, May 2 -- In a dramatic turn of events on National Highway-16 in Balasore, a sand-laden truck rammed into the vehicle of Additional Tehsildar Krushna Mohan Singh during a high-speed chase on Saturday. Fortunately, both the Additional Tehsildar and his driver escaped without any injuries.

According to sources, Additional Tehsildar Singh had received information about illegal sand-laden trucks operating in the area. He, along with his team, immediately reached the highway in an attempt to intercept the trucks. While they were able to stop two vehicles, one truck approaching from behind refused to halt and sped away.
