Bhubaneswar, March 27 -- A truck plunged off a bridge in Odisha's Bargarh district on Friday, in an accident reported from the Mahadarani Jor bridge under Barpali police limits. The incident took place along the Bargarh-Bolangir National Highway, triggering concern among locals and commuters in the area.

The vehicle, reportedly belonging to Vedanta company, is said to have lost control before falling from the bridge. Initial reports suggest that overspeeding may have led to the mishap. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported so far, according to preliminary information.
