Bhubaneswar, March 4 -- In a tragic road accident, four people lost their lives after two motorcycles collided head-on at Kunduli Chhak under Gochhapada police limits in Kandhamal district's Phulbani area, on Wednesday. The mishap has sent shockwaves through the area.

According to reports, the accident occurred when two motorcycles travelling in opposite directions crashed at high speed. The impact of the collision was so severe that four people died on the spot. Among the deceased are two young men and a child. A woman also sustained critical injuries in the accident.
