Bhubaneswar, June 19 -- Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar has issued a three-day thunderstorm and rain alert for the entire state. The forecast follows a pattern of intense daytime heat and humidity, followed by the formation of rain-bearing clouds in the evening across several regions in Odisha.

For Friday, an orange warning has been issued for 14 districts and a yellow warning for 16 districts due to prevailing Kalbaisakhi conditions.

Ahead of the evening rains, a separate daytime warning remains in place today for coastal and southern Odisha, where intense heat and humid conditions are expected to prevail.

Similarly, the entire state will remain under a yellow alert on Saturday.
