Bhubaneswar, July 9 -- A rescue operation is underway after three young trekkers were stranded on the Malyagiri Hills in Odisha's Angul district, officials said on Thursday.

According to reports, a group of seven youths from the Keonjhar Town area had travelled to Malyagiri Hill near Pallahara on Wednesday for a trekking expedition. While four members of the group managed to descend the hill and return safely, three others became stranded in the rugged terrain and could not make their way back.
