Bhubaneswar, Sept. 10 -- A massive fire broke out at Basudevpur main market in Odisha's Bhadrak late on Wednesday night. The incident took place near College Chhak in the market area.

According to preliminary information, the fire is suspected to have been caused by a short circuit. One electrical goods shop and two steel railing shops were affected in the blaze, with the properties inside the establishments reportedly destroyed.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the Basudevpur Fire Services team rushed to the spot and began efforts to bring the flames under control. Firefighters eventually managed to douse the blaze.
