Three injured as sword-wielding youth attacks villagers in Odisha
Bhubaneswar, Sept. 12 -- A sword-wielding youth allegedly attacked several people at village in Puri on Friday, leaving more than three people injured. The injured were later admitted to the Nimapara Community Health Centre for treatment.
The incident took place in Ankushpur village under Sagada panchayat in Nimapara police station limits. The accused has been identified as Amulya Pradhan, a resident of Ankushpur village.
According to reports, Amulya Pradhan was allegedly moving through the village carrying a sword, creating panic among the residents. He later went to the shop of Ajay Kumar Swain and asked for some items.
