Bhubaneswar, June 9 -- A tragic incident unfolded in Odisha's Talcher after three teenage friends were swept away by the strong current of the Brahmani River while bathing near the Jagannath Temple area on Monday. While two bodies have been recovered, search operations are underway to trace the third missing youth.
According to reports, a group of eight friends, all below 18 years of age, had left their homes on Monday, telling family members they were going to bathe in a nearby pond. However, they reportedly went to the Brahmani River instead.
