India, July 22 -- Preparations for the Bahuda Yatra are progressing smoothly in Puri as the chariots of the Holy Trinity have completed the Dakshina Moda (south turn) ritual near the Gundicha Temple, setting the stage for the return journey of Lord Jagannath and His Siblings to the Srimandir.

The divine stay of the deities at the Janmabedi is drawing to a close, and all rituals ahead of the Bahuda Yatra are being conducted as per tradition. On Tuesday, Devi Subhadra's Darpadalana chariot became the first to complete the Dakshina Moda ritual. On Wednesday, Lord Jagannath's Nandighosha and Lord Balabhadra's Taladhwaja chariots also completed the ceremonial turn.
