India, July 23 -- Tension prevailed high at the prestigious Maharishi College campus after an incident of alleged intimidation involving outsiders sparked concern among students on Thursday. According to reports, a group of individuals arrived at the college premises in luxury vehicles and created a scene of fear and panic on the campus.

The situation reportedly escalated when some of the youths allegedly brandished weapons, following which students raised an alarm and informed the police. Acting on a complaint lodged by students, personnel from Saheed Nagar Police Station reached the spot and detained six persons in connection with the incident.
