Bhubaneswar, Aug. 16 -- Police arrested nine people following a group clash between residents of Biruhan and Sagadi villages under Panikoili police station in Odisha's Jajpur district on Saturday. The arrests were made after tensions escalated between the two villages following a dispute that later turned into a group clash.

In view of the prevailing tension, police conducted a flag march in both villages and deployed six platoons of police force following directions from Jajpur SP. The security measures have been taken to maintain peace and law and order in the area.
