Tata Power plans 10 GW solar project in Odisha, targets Rs 1 trillion revenue
Bhubaneswar, July 8 -- Tata Power plans to significantly expand its green energy footprint with a new 10 gigawatt (Gw) solar manufacturing project set to be announced in Odisha in the coming months.
As reported by Business Standard, the company's 4.3 Gw solar cell and module manufacturing plant in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, has already been operational for the past year.
Speaking at the annual general meeting on Tuesday, Chairman N Chandrasekaran announced that the company is targeting a revenue of Rs 1 trillion and a profit after tax of Rs 10,000 crore by 2030.
