Bhubaneswar, Feb. 28 -- A wedding celebration in Odisha's Angul district turned into a medical emergency after more than 25 people fell ill, allegedly due to food poisoning. Around 20 of them have been admitted to the District Headquarters Hospital and are currently undergoing treatment, while several others are receiving care at private hospitals.

The incident occurred on Wednesday at Tubey village under Jarapada Police Station limits. Shortly after consuming the wedding feast, several guests reportedly began experiencing diarrhoea and vomiting. As their condition worsened, they sought medical attention.
