Bhubaneswar, Aug. 25 -- Continuous rain has caused waterlogging in Sindurdihi village under Sarasara panchayat in Bonai block of Sundargarh district in Odisha.

Rainwater has entered the low-lying parts of the village after the water level in Fatang Nala increased.

The nala received a sudden rise in water following the heavy rain, affecting areas close to several houses. With water remaining near the residential areas, villagers are worried about the situation.

The water level in Fatang Nala is still rising, raising concerns that more parts of the village could be affected if the rain continues, said a local.
