Bhubaneswar, Aug. 30 -- A truck crashed into a house in the Rajapada area of Padampur in Odisha's Bargarh district on Saturday night. The family members who were inside the house narrowly escaped the accident.

The truck reportedly veered off the road and rammed into the house of Narahari Bagarti before entering the premises. The impact caused damage to various portions of the house and left household items badly damaged.

According to reports, the accident is suspected to have occurred due to reckless driving by the truck driver. The incident raised concerns over the dangers posed by careless driving.

Upon receiving the information, Padampur police detained the truck driver and initiated an investigation into the accident.
