Bhubaneswar, June 9 -- Pre-monsoon rainfall activity is likely to intensify across Odisha, with the southwest monsoon likely to enter the state within the next two to three days, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The weather department said atmospheric conditions have become increasingly favourable for the monsoon's advancement, as moisture-laden cloud bands from the Bay of Bengal continue moving towards the state. Several districts have already been experiencing intermittent rainfall over the past few days.
