Bhubaneswar, Aug. 9 -- Former Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that some people are attempting to mislead Gen Z while speaking at an event organised by Gangadhar Meher University in Sambalpur on Saturday.

Raising the issue of Gen Z, Pradhan said he was closely affected by the new generation and had started understanding them from the perspective of a parent.

Pradhan said the country is dependent on these 20 crore young people. He also noted that the freedom fighters of the past were also part of Gen Z.
