Bhubaneswar, June 29 -- Vehicle movement intensified significantly at the Pipili Toll Gate in Puri on Monday as lakhs of devotees began travelling towards Puri to witness the Debasnana Purnima rituals.

In response to the heavy rush of buses, private cars, and two-wheelers along the main highway corridor, authorities have deployed extra personnel and strengthened security arrangements to ensure an orderly flow of traffic.

The toll plaza management, in coordination with local police and district administration officials, has implemented a streamlined clearance system to prevent long bottlenecks on the arterial route leading to the pilgrim town.
