Six critical in blast during illegal firecracker preparation in Odisha
Bhubaneswar, April 3 -- A powerful explosion during firecracker preparation left at least six persons critically injured at Korada village under Nuagaon police station limits in Odisha's Nayagarh district on Friday.
The blast occurred inside a house at Korada village where firecrackers were being made unlawfully.
The incident took place when preparation was underway for the upcoming 'Lanka Podi' festival scheduled on April 7.
Among the injured are two women; all six have been admitted to the District Headquarters Hospital in critical condition.
