Bhubaneswar, June 18 -- Elaborate arrangements have been made to celebrate the Sital Sasthi festival of Lord Lingaraj with grand cultural celebrations in Bhubaneswar.

The organising committee announced during a press conference that the divine wedding ceremony of Lord Lingaraj and Goddess Gauri will be solemnised tonight at the Kedar Gouri Temple in Bhubaneswar. The ceremony will be performed following traditional Vedic rituals and customs.

To enhance the scale of the annual event, the committee has integrated a diverse lineup of regional and inter-state cultural performances into the main marriage procession.
