Bhubaneswar, April 7 -- A major crackdown on alleged cattle smuggling networks is underway in Odisha's Mayurbhanj district. Police conducted simultaneous raids at multiple locations since Tuesday morning. 

The operation, led by a special team, targeted suspected cattle mafia operatives across the district.

According to reports, police carried out sudden raids at 15 locations at daybreak. The searches were conducted in areas including Rairangpur, Jharpokharia, Bangiriposi, Saraskana and Baisinga, where houses of suspected cattle smugglers were targeted.
