Bhubaneswar, March 2 -- In a major crackdown on cyber fraud operations, the Commissionerate Police on Monday seized another SIM box from the state capital, Bhubaneswar. The illegal device was recovered from the jurisdiction of Chandrasekharpur Police Station following a targeted raid by the special squad of the Commissionerate Police.

According to police sources, the raid was conducted after receiving credible intelligence that a SIM box was being operated in the area to facilitate fraudulent activities. The accused were allegedly using the device to convert international calls, particularly those originating from Middle Eastern countries, into local calls.
