India, July 30 -- A fatal mishap claimed the lives of two minor siblings after they allegedly fell into an open (under-construction) septic tank in Kadadhia village under Koida police limits in Odisha's Sundargarh district on Thursday.

The deceased kids were identified as the three-year-old son and four-year-old daughter of Shambhu Bhumij, a resident of Kadadhia village.

According to local sources, the children had gone out to attend the call of nature in the morning when they accidentally fell into an uncovered septic tank that had been dug in the area.
