Bhubaneswar, June 17 -- Police conducted late-night raids on Tuesday at multiple spas, hotels, guest houses, lodges and rented accommodations in Paradip following allegations that illegal activities, including sex rackets, were being operated from some establishments.

The operation was carried out under the leadership of the Additional SP of Paradip and the IIC of Paradip Model Police Station. Police teams conducted searches in Tarinigada, IFFCO Chhak, Beer Factory Lane and several other areas of the port town.

According to sources, police launched the operation after receiving specific information about alleged illegal activities being carried out from some spas, hotels, lodges and rented houses.
