Serial fraudster arrested for posing as BJP national president Nitin Nabin's PA from Odisha's Ganjam
Bhubaneswar, June 21 -- A 28-year-old serial fraudster was arrested on Saturday for allegedly extorting money from political workers by posing as the personal assistant to BJP national president Nitin Nabin.
The accused has been identified as Jagannath Mandal, a resident of Panchama under the Golanthara police station jurisdiction in Ganjam, Odisha.
He allegedly used digital platforms to threaten local political workers and demanded cash for party operations, as reported by the Times Of India.
Mandal targeted a complainant who was working under Chikiti MLA Manoranjan Dyansamantara.
